WWE remembers Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.
The wrestling world sadly lost two legends this past week as Terry Funk passed away on August 23 and Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) passed away on August 24.
To open the August 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, members of the WWE roster stood at the top of the ramp as WWE gave Funk and Wyatt the ten bell salute. A video package aired celebrating the life of Wyatt and the segment closed with an empty rocking chair sitting in the spotlight.
Erick Rowan was front and center at the top of the ramp. Though he is not signed to WWE, he was one of the original three Wyatt Family members along with Bray and Luke Harper (Brodie Lee). Harper sadly passed away in December 2020.
This week, we lost two beloved members of the WWE family, Hall of Famer Terry Funk and the one and only Bray Wyatt.
