In a Gauntlet that was mostly dominated by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day, Bobby Lashley and MVP have once again secured their chance to become WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, further extending the issues between Randy Orton and the incumbent WWE Champion.
The match itself was split across several segments on the show, acting as bookends and even though Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would handle most of the work, Bobby Lashley and MVP would make their way into the match end last eliminate AJ Styles and Omos to secure their rematch from August 30 on September 13.
After the match, Bobby Lashley would be dropped by Omos with a two-handed chokeslam, making way for Randy Orton to mail Bobby Lashley with another RKO.
