It appears that Mahal's instigation has gotten him a WWE United States Title shot.
At the WWE 'Fastlane' PPV, Randy Orton became a Grand Slam Champion when he defeated Bobby Roode to capture his first WWE United States Championship. Waiting to rain on Orton's parade was an old rival, Jinder Mahal. For weeks now, Mahal has been instigating the feud between Roode & Orton which ultimately led to their match at 'Fastlane'.
Recently, the "Modern-Day Maharajah" has had his way with both Orton and Roode. Due to all men involved one-upping one another on different occasions, it was announced via Twitter that at WrestleMania 34 in three weeks, Randy Orton will defend his WWE United States Championship in a Triple-Threat match against Bobby Roode & Jinder Mahal.
