The WWE World Cup field is shaping up.
Despite all the controversy currently hovering over Saudi Arabia and WWE moving forward to present their 'Crown Jewel' show in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd, the WWE World Cup tournament which will conclude at 'Crown Jewel' has more qualifying matches on the way. It was announced last week on SmackDown Live that the returning Rey Mysterio and WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura are set to go one-on-one with the winner securing their spot in the World Cup.
Already having qualified for the tourney is WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle, John Cena, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy. There will be three names added to that field by the end of Tuesday night as it is noted on WWE.com that there will be two World Cup qualifying matches on this upcoming Monday's edition of RAW in Philadelphia.
One-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre will go-one-on-one with WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins in a World Cup qualifying match and Dean Ambrose will face the other-half of the RAW Tag Team Champs Dolph Ziggler in a qualifying match as well.
