Michael Cole provides an update on Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods returns.
Woods made his surprise return to the Raw brand on the January 15 episode of the show, interrupting Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser's promo. Woods noted that he had a problem with Kaiser after he attacked Kofi Kingston on the January 8 episode of Raw. Woods then challenged Kaiser to a match, which Kaiser accepted, noting that he'll take Woods' head as well.
During the match, Michael Cole provided an update on Kofi Kingston, noting that the star suffered a cervical neck sprain during Kaiser's attack on January 8. Cole also stated that Kingston will be out of action for a number of weeks.
The match between Woods and Kaiser ended in a disqualification after Kaiser threw a commentary desk chair at Woods. The pair brawled around the ringside area until Kaiser retreated backstage.
