The Young Bucks are back.
The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) returned to AEW at AEW Dynasty 2025. They made their presence felt for the first time since October by costing Swerve Strickland the AEW World Title.
Just as it appeared that Strickland would defeat Jon Moxley by delivering a Swerve Stomp, the lights went out in the arena. When they came back on, Swerve was in the position for the EVP Trigger courtesy of the returning Matthew and Nicholas. Following the double knee shot, Moxley pinned Strickland to retain his title. The Bucks left through the crowd, and the show went off the air quickly afterward.

This is Matthew and Nicholas Jackson's first appearance on AEW programming since losing the AEW World Tag Team Titles to Private Party's Zay and Quen at AEW Fright Night Dynamite on October 30, 2024. That night, they ran away from the issues with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. Now, they're back with a vengeance.
They previously had issues with Strickland stemming from AEW Blood & Guts 2024 when Strickland led a team against The Elite.
