Zack Sabre Jr. Interested In A Match Against Jon Moxley For Moxley's IWGP United States Title

Once pro wrestling returns, Zack Sabre Jr. would be interested in a match against Jon Moxley.

The current RevPro British Heavyweight Champion spoke with NJPW and said he wants his hands on Moxley after Moxley has been in a feud with Minoru Suzuki, the leader of Suzuki-Gun which Sabre is a part of.

More specifically, Sabre wants to beat Moxley, the current IWGP United States Champion, at the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty event at Madison Square Garden in New York in August.

"I don’t think anything would be better than being US Champion at Wrestle Dynasty, and how upset American wrestling fans would be. I think as well, Moxley was coming after my group. I didn’t want to wait for him to come to me, I wanted to jump in," Sabre said.

The thought of facing Moxley has Sabre excited, but he wouldn't want to do a potential match under hardcore rules and wants a traditional singles match.

"I can appreciate that fans would be excited about that; I’m excited about that. You don’t know which way it’s going to go. He’s been having these hardcore rules with everyone and that isn’t going to work with me; you can keep the furniture under the ring, sunshine. I wouldn’t be chasing after him if I didn’t think I could win. I can win. It won’t be easy, but I can win," Sabre said.

NJPW events for the next few weeks have been put on hold due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but there has been no change in regards to the status of Wrestle Dynasty.
