After over a year with WWE, HoHo Lun has been released by the company.
Lun participated in WWE's Cruiserweight Classic tournament, where he made it to the second round with a victory over Ariya Daivari. Lun also competed in the 2016 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, teaming with Tian Bing, where they were eliminated in the first round.
Lun was announced as a member of WWE's 205 Live program, but he never appeared for the show, and instead appeared on several NXT live events and TV tapings working as an enhancement wrestler.
The 30-year old Lun has wrestled since 2009, and wrestled in China, Japan, England, Portugal, Singapore and Malaysia before landing in WWE.
