Another Long Time Impact Star Makes Their Exit

James Storm will be the latest to make his exit from Impact Wrestling.

He made it clear at tonight's tapings that it would be his last night in the promotion. Someone on Twitter posted a short video of him thanking various people throughout his tenure there, including the recently ousted Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter:

He further pushed it on Twitter, indicating it was time to move on:

James Storm had been with Impact since literally the beginning, debuting on the inaugural PPV in 2002. He first had success as a team with Chris Harris known as America's Most Wanted, then with Bobby Roode as Beer Money. After spending years as a tag team wrestler, he moved on to being a singles wrestler. He beat Kurt Angle for the Impact title on October 18, 2011, but Bobby Roode beat him eight days later.

He briefly left TNA in 2015 for a short stint in NXT, but ultimately chose to return to Impact over NXT. For a short while he led a stable with Kingston and Bram known as the DCC, but that was disbanded not too long after Jeff Jarrett took over creative. At Bound for Glory, he teamed with EC3 and Eddie Edwards to defeat El Hijo del Fantasma, Pagano and Texano in a Impact vs. AAA match.
