Finn Balor Has Set A 'Hard Target' For His Return

On episode 110 of Sam Roberts' Wrestling Podcast, former longest-reigning NXT Champion and first ever WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor spoke with Roberts regarding his targeted return date after rehabbing from his shoulder surgery.

During the interview, Balor said that he recently had his sling taken off, which is a big step in the rehab process. "I feel real good, but I've got to be real careful." Balor said he's got a "hard target" to make his comeback at Wrestlemania, but he could be back even sooner. "The target's WrestleMania. There's talk it could be sooner, but really that's the hard target. And that's what I'm aiming for right now."

Also, Balor said that he's rehabbing six hours a day. "Six hours of rehab every day. Three in the morning, yeah, three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon," Balor said. Balor's shoulder was injured at Summerslam when Seth Rollins powerbombed him into the barricade. Balor was able to put the shoulder back in place and finished out the match, winning the title. He was forced to vacate the championship the next night on Raw, and the following day, he went in for surgery in Birmingham Alabama, where he continues to rehab. "The guys down in Birmingham, Alabama have been incredible. I've been working out with them everyday."
