A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to the UFC Europe Twitter page as Chris Fishgold is in action against Daniel Teymur.
Fishgold (17-2-1) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Calvin Kattar via first round TKO at UFC Fight Night Moncton. Fishgold is a former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion, but he gave up the title upon signing with the UFC last year. Fishgold has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of those victories have come by way of submission.
Teymur (6-2-0) is also winless thus far in his UFC tenure, having dropped bouts to the duo of Danny Henry and Julio Arce. Teymur had picked up six wins prior to signing with the UFC and all of those victories came via first round finish. Teymur has fought a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and only one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Thiago Santos and Jan Blachowicz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
