UFC President Dana White was in attendance at the event and was critical of Smoliakov’s performance on that night.

“I’m not gonna say that I love that fight,” White said after the event (via Dave Doyle & Matt Erickson of MMA Junkie). “You guys know, I’ve been doing this for 20 years, We’ve don’t do setup fights for anybody. And if I was a fan, and probably some of the media, the way some of the media acts, I don’t know who the (expletive) that guy beat in nine fights, but I’d like to see the nine guys he beat.”

Smoliakov is now 0-3-0 under the UFC banner, with the other two losses coming against Luis Henrique and Cyril Asker.

White is even critical of those who Smoliakov previously defeated outside of UFC competition.

“That guy’s record (was) 9-2,” White said. “I want to see the nine guys he beat. Some of them are probably in this room right now.”

Hardy also picked up his first UFC win on that night and his fourth overall as a professional MMA fighter.
