Soren Bak has suffered an injury and has been pulled from the upcoming Cage Warriors 106 card, replacing him against featherweight champion Dean Trueman is going to be Mads Burnell.
Trueman (10-4-0) is going to be making the first defense of his championship, defeating Aiden Lee by third round TKO to win the gold at Cage Warriors 100. Trueman hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Frantz Slioa at Cage Warriors 82. Trueman has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
Burnell (11-3-0) is undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner, defeating the duo of Ahmed Vila and Lukasz Rajewski. Burnell also won just one of three bouts during his time in the UFC, with that lone win coming against Mike Santiago at UFC Fight Night St. Louis. Burnell has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of submission.
