A bruising batamweight battle has been added to UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley as Andre Ewell faces Irwin Rivera.

Ewell (16-6-0) has rotated wins-and-losses throughout his UFC run. Most recently, he won a split decision win over Jonathan Martinez at UFC 247. Ewell has competed a total of five times in the UFC. Ewell has picked up seven of 16 wins by KO/TKO, plus by decision in his MMA journey.
Rivera (10-5-0) is batting at 50 percent in the UFC. He recently beat Ali Aqaisi at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik. Rivera is a former Titan FC bantamweight champion, defending the title once before signing with the UFC. Rivera is competing in his third UFC fight since debuting in May.
UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley is set for Saturday, September 19. A grudge match between Colby Covington and Tyron Woodley will headline. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
