A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 234 according to the New Zealand Herald as Austin Arnett is going to be in action against Shane Young.
Arnett (16-5-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, with that lone victory coming over Humberto Bandenay at UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires. Arnett also competed once on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series, dropping a bout to Brandon Davis on Episode 4. Arnett has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those defeats have come by way of decision.
Young (12-4-0) has won just one of two bouts in the UFC and his win came over Rolando Dy at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Young has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision. Young also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, which includes winning the Industry Of Combat New Zealand Featherweight Title in September of 2011.
