Sergio Pettis has decided to explore free agency and will no longer be facing Kai Kara France at UFC 245 according to ESPN, replacing him in the bout according to the NZ Herald is Brandon Moreno.
France (20-7-0-1NC) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated the trio of Elias Garcia, Raulian Paiva and Mark De La Rosa. France also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before losing to Alexandre Pantoja. France has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Moreno (15-5-1) recently started his second run with the UFC at UFC Fight Night Mexico City, fighting Askar Askarov to a split draw. Moreno won three of five during his first run with the UFC, with those wins coming over Louis Smolka, Ryan Benoit and Dustin Ortiz. Moreno also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, losing in the opening round to the aforementioned Pantoja.
