Report: Bryce Mitchell Battles Bobby Moffett At UFC Fight Night Nashville

A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Nashville according to Tom Taylor of BJPenn.com as Bryce Mitchell is going to be in action against Bobby Moffett.

Mitchell (10-0-0) has already competed once under the UFC banner, defeating Tyler Diamond by majority decision at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. Mitchell is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted over four years. Mitchell also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Brad Katona.

Moffett (14-3-0) is also undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Chas Skelly by second round submission at UFC Fight Night Denver. Moffett earned an opportunity with the UFC after competing on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 16, defeating Jacob Kilburn by second round submission. Moffett has previously challenged for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Raoni Barcelos at RFA 39.

UFC Fight Night Nashville takes place on Saturday, March 23 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Stephen Thompson and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
