Jingliang Li has no opponent at UFC Fight Night Beijing following the withdraw of Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos, but a report from Raphael Marinho of Combate says that David Zawada has agreed to take the short notice opportunity.
Li (15-5-0) has won five of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the five pack of Daichi Abe, Anton Zafir, Bobby Nash, Frank Camacho and Zak Ottow. Li is back in Beijing for the first time since UFC Fight Night Beijing 2017, where he defeated the aforementioned Ottow by first round TKO. Li has picked up fifteen victories as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO, five coming by way of submission and five by decision.
Zawada (16-4-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a bout to Danny Roberts at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Zawada has picked up sixteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by way of KO/TKO. Zawada is fighting for the third time in 2018, making it the most active year of fighting for him since 2015.
