A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale according to Combate as Li Jingliang is in action against Alex Oliveira.
Jingliang (16-5-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Daichi Abe and David Zawada. Jingliang hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year and that last loss came to Jake Matthews at UFC 221 in February of 2018. Jingliang has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those defeats came by way of KO/TKO.
Oliveira (19-6-1-2NC) has won two of his last three bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Carlos Condit and Carlo Pedersoli Jr. Oliveira has competed as both a lightweight and welterweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 9-4-0-1NC. Oliveira has picked up nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale takes place on Saturday, April 27 from the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with Yoel Romero and Ronaldo Souza headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
