A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Stockholm according to MMA Junkie as Makwan Amirkhani is in action against Chris Fishgold.
Amirkhani (14-3-0) has won four of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the four pack of Jason Knight, Andy Ogle, Masio Fullen and Mike Wilkinson. Amirkhani is back is action for the first time in a year, as his last bout took place at UFC Fight Night Liverpool in May of 2018. Amirkhani has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of submission.
Fishgold (18-2-1) has won just one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming against Daniel Teymur at UFC Fight Night Prague. Fishgold is also a former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion, but relinquished the gold upon signing with the UFC last year. Fishgold has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one coming by KO/TKO and one coming by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Stockholm takes place on Saturday, June 1 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden with Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
