A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 252 as #9 Rogerio Bontorin faces Manel Kape.
Combate first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Bontorin (16-2-0-1NC) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Magomed Bibulatov and Raulian Paiva. Bontorin is going to be making his UFC pay-per-view debut in this bout, despite having been with the promotion for over a year. Bontorin also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 1, defeating Gustavo Gabriel Silva by second round submission.
Kape (15-4-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Kape is a former Rizin Bantamweight Champion, defeating Kai Asakura at Rizin 20 to win the gold. Kape has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of KO/TKO.
