A bantamweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 215 according to WTNH-TV as Mike Kimbel is going to be in action against John Douma.
Kimbel (2-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Geoffrey Then and Alex Potts. Kimbel won just one of three bouts as an amateur MMA fighter, with that lone victory coming over Steve Rivera at Warrior Nation XFA 12. Kimbel has competed twice thus far as a pro and his total bout time is less than one and a half minutes.
Douma (3-1-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout, with the fighter having exclusively competed in CES MMA until this point. Douma has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against WSOF veteran Adam Acquaviva at CES MMA 50. Douma has competed four times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone the distance.
Bellator 215 takes place on Friday, February 15 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
