A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker as Mike Perry faces Mickey Gall.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN first reported the news, but the fight's spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Perry (13-6-0) has won two of his last seven under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Paul Felder and Alex Oliveira. Perry hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with his last victory coming at UFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale in April of last year. Perry has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Gall (6-2-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC bouts, with the latest being a unanimous decision win over Salim Touahri at UFC Fight Night Newark. Gall has suffered a total of two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition. Gall has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker takes place on Saturday, June 27 from a location to be announced with Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
