A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 14 as Rhys McKee is in action against Alex Morono.

McKee (10-3-1) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till. McKee hasn’t picked up a victory in almost a year, as his last win came over Hakon Foss at Cage Warriors 110 in November 2019. McKee has competed 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Morono (17-6-0-1NC) has won three of his last four in the UFC with those wins coming over Kenan Song, Zak Ottow and Max Griffin. Morono hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, as his last win came over the aforementioned Griffin at UFC Fight Night Tampa. Morono has picked up six of 17 professional MMA wins by submission, but he has yet to be defeated by that method.
UFC Fight Island 14 takes place on Saturday, November 14 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
