A lightweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Fight Night Moscow card according to MMA UK as Rustam Khabilov takes on Kajan Johnson.
Khabilov (22-3-0) enters the contest on the strength of a five fight winning streak, having defeated Norman Parke, Chris Wade, Leandro Silva, Jason Saggo and Desmond Green. Khabilov has seen his last six fights go the distance and it has been over four years since the fighter got a finish. Khabilov hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that loss coming to Adriano Martins at UFC Fight Night 61.
Johnson (23-12-1) is going to be fighting for the third time in 2018, making it the most active year the fighter has had since signing with the UFC in 2014. Johnson is also coming off of his first loss in over four years, which came against Islam Makhachev at UFC On Fox 30. Johnson has suffered twelve losses as a professional MMA fighter, with four coming by KO/TKO, four coming by submission and four coming by decision.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, September 15 from the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia with Mark Hunt and Alexey Oleinik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
