A pair of bouts have been added to UFC 238 according to the Chicago Tribune as #3 (Tied) Nina Ansaroff faces #3 (tied) Tatiana Suarez in a women’s strawweight title eliminator and #3 Katlyn Chookagian faces #7 Joanne Calderwood.
Ansaroff (10-5-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak, last defeating Claudia Gadelha at UFC 231. Ansaroff has seen eight of her professional MMA fights going the distance, with the fighter winning four and losing four of those encounters.
Suarez (7-0-0) has already picked up four wins under the UFC banner and is the owner of an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Suarez was also the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, defeating Amanda Bobby Cooper in the finals.
Chookagian (11-2-0) has won three of her last four in the UFC, with those wins coming over Irene Aldana, Mara Romero Borella and Alexis Davis. Chookagian has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them coming in UFC competition.
Calderwood (13-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Kalindra Faria and Ariane Lipski. Calderwood has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of decision.
