Report: Two Fights Added, One Fight Removed From Bellator 244 Card

Next Friday Night’s Bellator 244 card has undergone some changes as two fights have been added to the card in Yaroslav Amosov vs. Mark Lemminger and John De Jesus vs. Vladyslav Parubchenko, while a bout between Mike Kimbel and Chaka Worthy has been removed from the event.

MMA Junkie first reported the card changes, but no reason has been given for the removal of Kimbel vs. Worthy.

Amosov (23-0-0) has already earned four victories in Bellator competition, having defeated Gerald Harris, Erick Silva, David Rickels and Ed Ruth. Lemminger (11-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the Bellator banner, having defeated Jake Smith by second round TKO at Bellator 242.

De Jesus (10-8-0) is making his Bellator debut in this bout and the fighter does so have won just one of his last three fights. Parubchenko (15-1-0) is also making his Bellator debut in this bout and does so on the strength of an eight fight winning streak.

Bellator 244 takes place on Friday, August 21 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ryan Bader and Vadim Nemkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
