Paige's comeback journey has just taken a very important step.
The former WWE Divas Champion Paige is currently at the WWE Performance Center working out in an attempt to get medically cleared to return to the ring.

Paige underwent neck surgery in October of 2016 after being out with a herniated disc since June of that year.
Since then, she's had a rather eventful time of it for a girl who hasn't stepped foot in the ring. She got engaged to Alberto El Patron (Del Rio), and that relationship has had its ups and downs. She's had a movie made about her life that just had its first screening. And of course, there were the private photos and video that were stolen from her phone and posted to the internet.
If she is to make a comeback to the ring soon, it would undoubtedly be a welcome change of pace from how her life has been without wrestling.
In an article released on Tuesday by WWE.com, it was noted that Smackdown and Raw Superstars would be "put on notice." When Fightful.com inquired with those inside WWE about the move, there weren't solid plans for her return brand, but one source said that with Asuka going to Raw, they'd be surprised if Paige didn't end up on Smackdown to level the playing field.
