Adam Copeland addresses how he's feeling ahead of his AEW return.
Back at AEW Double Or Nothing earlier this ear, Copeland defended his TNT championship in a steel cage match against Malakai Black. During the bout, Copeland would climb to the top of the cage before attempting a splash through a table. Landing ugly, it would be revealed in the days following that Adam had suffered a broken leg as a result of the spot.
While speaking to The Leafs Nation in an appearance on Thanksgiving, Copeland was asked about his injury and his impending return to the ring.
"My brain forgets I'm 51, but my body quickly reminded me, yeah, you just jumped from 21 feet, asshole. That's technically three stories. You're 51, quit it. But I feel good. I'm ready to get back at it and to get busy again."
In a recent interview, Ricky Starks commented on his infamous AEW Collision segment with Copeland. You can read more about that here.
WWE recently filed to trademark Copeland's previous ring name, Edge. You can read more about that here.
