Adam Page Says WWE Championship No Longer His Goal

Adam Page has new goals in wrestling.

Adam Page has been wrestling in Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and independent promotions since 2011. During that time he has had some success in many of the promotions and became part of the Bullet Club including a role on Being the Elite. In an interview with the New York Post, Page said because of his experience so far, he doesn't see a reason to go onto the WWE.

“Of course those are your first goals. Like ‘Oh I want to be a WWE champion or go to WrestleMania,’ but I guess as I’ve matured as a performer I’ve realized that that is not something that is a goal for me whatsoever any more,” said Page.

In the rest of the interview, Page talked about his past as a teacher, changing the idea behind his "Hangman" character, and the benefits of doing Being the Elite. Page said Being the Elite allows them to tell stories which could not be told on WWE television.

Page will be facing Punishment Martinez at Ring of Honor Best in the World in a singles match.
