AEW adds to their roster.
On the latest episode of Being The Elite, Kenny Omega announced that Michael Nakazawa is the newest member of the AEW roster. The 43-year-old Nakazawa is best known for his time in Japanese promotion DDT. He wrestled at the NJPW CEO X NJPW When Worlds Collide event in June 2018. Those events were co-promoted by Omega.
Omega and Nakazawa have shared the ring 34 times in their careers, both as opponents and partners. They last competed against one another in 2014 when Omega teamed with Kota Ibushi to face Nakazawa and Yoshihiko.
DDT President Sanshiro Takagi hinted that the promotion will look to put together a farewell bout for Nakazawa on Mar. 21.
