AEW Returning To Toronto For Forbidden Door 2 On June 25, Five Other Shows In Canada Announced

AEW is coming back to Canada in a big way.

As first revealed in a press release on March 15, All Elite Wrestling is set to return to Canada this summer for a six show tour. Notably, the tour will start with the second iteration of the crossover Forbidden Door pay-per-view with New Japan Pro Wrestling, as that show will take place on Sunday, June 25 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. The first iteration of the show, which happened back in 2022, took place on June 26.

The company will also hold five other events in Canada following Forbidden Door. The June 28 taping of both Dynamite and Rampage will be held at First Ontario Centre in Ontario. The July 5 taping of Dynamite and Rampage will be held at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, and the July 12 taping of Dynamite will be held at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Furthermore, the July 14 taping of AEW Ramage will broadcast live from Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Furthermore, the second ever AEW House Rules event will be held on Saturday, July 15 at the Saddledome as part of Canada's iconic annual cultural event - "Calgary Stampede," in Calgary, Alberta.

March 15, 2023-AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan today announced that AEW will begin a month-long excursion of Canada starting in June, touring across Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan for red-hot shows including "AEW: Dynamite," "AEW: Rampage," "AEW House Rules" and the highly anticipated return of the "AEW x New Japan Pro Wrestling:

After selling out the Coca-Cola Coliseum in minutes for AEW's Toronto debut last October, Scotiabank Centre will play host to the "Forbidden Door" pay-per-view on Sunday, June 25, marking the second iteration of this groundbreaking event that pits the best and brightest talent on the AEW and NJPW rosters against one another. Tickets for "Forbidden Door" go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. ET.

From there, AEW's foray into Canada continues with a number of market debuts and marquee events, including:

• Wednesday, June 28: "AEW: Dynamite" and "AEW: Rampage" live from FirstOntario
