On May 17, AEW filed to trademark its logo for AEW Saturday Collision. Also, AEW filed to trademark the term "Transfer Portal."

Collision has also been reportedly linked to the return of CM Punk to AEW. Warner Bros. Discovery recently issued a statement saying that, at this time, he is currently not connected to the upcoming show.
