Afa the Wild Samoan undergoes a medical procedure.
WWE Hall of Famer Afa recently underwent exploratory heart procedures to check his valves. The news was shared on his official Facebook page on December 13. It was stated that he had already gone home and was resting.
The Samoan Dynasty patriarch was quoted as saying he kicked out before the one count.
Afa, a former WWE Tag Team Champion, has run the WXW training school for decades. He is currently set to undergo a follow-up appointment on December 20, and he is still scheduled for a seminar on January 13.
Afa was last seen on WWE television at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020. On that night, Roman Reigns defeated his cousin Jey Uso in an I Quit Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Undisputed Title. After the match, both Afa and Sika congratulated Roman Reigns and officially anointed him the tribal chief by bestowing upon him the specific red lei.
Fightful wishes Afa a speedy recovery and will continue to report any updates on his health.
