Aigle Blanc discusses his participation in the Super Strong Style 16 tournament.
While Blanc has wrestled in Progress several times over the year, in 2024 he was brought back by the UK based promotion for their Super Strong Style 16 tournament. In the tournament opening round, Blanc would go one on one with Man Like DeReiss and despite coming up short, would get a resounding ovation from the crowd.
In a new interview with Progress, the French pro wrestled reflected on competing in his first Super Strong Style 16 tournament.
"When I started wrestling, everyone was always talking about two tournaments in Europe, 16 Carat Gold and Super Strong Style 16. I’ve already participated in Carat twice before, so finally doing SSS16 was a highlight for my European career. Wrestling is a not an easy life, but when you have a reaction like this from the fans after showing your work, you realise why you dedicate your whole Life to it. I LIVE FOR THESE MOMENTS. Shoutout to DeReiss for this awesome encounter."
Blanc is currently scheduled to face off with one of the UK's hottest young stars in Leon Slater at Chapter 169: The Devil On My Shoulder later this month.
