Aigle Blanc: The Progress Fans Know What Will Happen When Me And Leon Slater Go One On One

Aigle Blanc previews his upcoming match with Leon Slater.

At Progress Super Strong Style 16 earlier this Summer, Aigle Blanc made a statement appearance for the promotion in their annual Super Strong Style 16 tournament, coming up short in the opening round with Man Like DeReiss. However, following chants of 'pleae come back' from the Progress crowd, Blanc was booked once again for Progress Chapter 169: The Devil On My Shoulder where he will battle Leon Slater.

In a new interview with Progress, Blanc commented on the upcoming matchup.

"I am not going to be very original, but I love him, he is awesome. A real prodigy and a good human being too. I just want to let him know that I have been looked at as a prodigy in my country too, and I have finally started to get the exposure I deserve. I will show him that the French prodigy can handle the pressure I have set on myself. I expect a lot from the fans. They were awesome for my UK debut, and they don’t even know me! Now that they now me, the PROGRESS Wrestling fans know what will happen when me and Leon Slater go one-on-one, I want the Electric Ballroom to shake!"

Progress: The Devil On My Shoulder is set for July 28th and will also feature a Progress World Title match between former friends Luke Jacobs and champion Kid Lykos following Jacobs' victory in Super Strong Style 16.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Blanc reflected on competing in the Progress Super Strong Style 16 tournament earlier this year. You can read more about that here.
