On October 14th, Styles took to Twitter/X to respond to a fan who expressed their doubt that he was actually hurt. He said that it was called a Lisfranc injury.

Styles also responded to a fan who noted that the injury often ends running backs' seasons and sidelined NFL star Cam Newton in 2016. Styles expressed his agreement and jokingly wrote that, as the kids say, he was cooked.

As of this writing, there is no word on how long AJ Styles will be out of action.
