Aleister Black has released a new vignette online.
On April 15 - a day that saw WWE release several Superstars - it was reported that Aleister Black would be staying with the company and that they began filming promos this week that were loosely based on his childhood.
Today, the former NXT Champion shared a video to his Instagram titled, "Black Arts part 8. Chapter 0: forgive me, father." In the short clip, Black says the following:
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. It's been four years since my last confession. Four years of perpetuating this lie about who I am and who I am not. But I seem to have stumbled into your woods once again, and this time a boy will heed the call. It is time to cull the herd."
Black made his televised in-ring debut four years ago on 1 April at NXT TakeOver: Orlando. His last televised match was on October 12, 2020. On that night, he lost to Kevin Owens in a No Disqualification Match.
It is unknown when Aleister Black will return to WWE TV. Fightful will keep you updated should any information become available.
