The first all-women's WarGames match in NXT history has been announced.
After Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox were unsuccessful in capturing the WWE Women's Tag Team titles against The Kabuki Warriors, the duo were attacked by the Horsewomen, led by NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler.
This resulted in a nine-woman brawl with one side comprising of Kai, Nox, Rhea Ripley and Candice LeRae while the other side had Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shirai and Bianca Belair. Once the dust settled and tensions remained high, it was announced that two teams, captained by Ripley and Baszler, will have a WarGames match at NXT TakeOver: War Games III.
The match specifics weren't revealed, neither were the members of each team. NXT TakeOver: War Games III is set to take place on November 23 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Fightful will have live coverage of the event.
