It was a night of returns and debuts at the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble, with several of both spread across the men's and women's matches at the Premium Live Event. Byron Saxton caught up with the former NXT Champion backstage after the Rumble match in a digital exclusive, where Andrade noted that he had to leave WWE to remember who he was.

"How do I feel? Happy. I'm happy to be here, to be back. I needed to leave, to remember who I was. So now, I am back, I know who I am. And remember, now, nobody's stopping me, okay?"

Andrade made his way over to All Elite Wrestling back in 2021, finishing up with the promotion at AEW World's End in December, losing in singles competition to Miro.
