Anna Jay Hopes There Will Be AEW Women's Tag Titles At Some Point

Anna Jay is one of the most successful women's tag team wrestlers in AEW as her team with Tay Conti was regularly featured on television.

AEW's women's division is deeper than ever and the addition of the AEW TBS Women's Championship has added extra time for the division. While both the men's and women's divisions have a main and secondary singles title, the men's division has tag team titles while the women's division doesn't.

Asked on Women's Wrestling Talk if AEW could create Women's Tag Team Titles once there is a steady division, Anna Jay replied, "I definitely think so. We didn't think it would happen anytime soon, which you never know, it was cool to get the secondary women's title, so now, if I had to guess, the next title for the women's division should be a tag title. Hopefully, that's the next one. I don't know when. I think we do need to keep building and do what we're doing before that happens, but I definitely think it should happen in the near future. At some point," she said.

Jay most recently teamed with Ruby Soho during the AEW Dark: Elevation tapings on Wednesday. You can find full spoilers from the episode by clicking here.
