Anthony Bowens can walk!
During the June 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Max Caster and Gunn Club faced Danhausen and FTR. Toward the end of the match, Bowens, who had been in a wheelchair, slid into the ring and tried to hit Danhausen with a crutch. Unfortunately, he missed and hit Austin Gunn, allowing Danhausen to pick up the win.
Bowens had been nursing a knee injury and had only wrestled once, albeit in a limited capacity, since March.
After the bell, Austin and Colten got into a shoving match with The Acclaimed, but their dad Billy Gunn stepped in and shoved his sons to the ground. While they walked away, Billy stood alongside Bowens and Caster. This comes after weeks of Billy treating Max and Anthony more like sons in the numerous skits they have filmed.
For the time being, The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass will keep on scissoring.
