Asuka and Rhea Ripley will clash in a high-stakes match on the November 21 episode of WWE Raw.
A commerical during the November 18 episode of WWE SmacKDown confirmed that Ripley will face Asuka in the WarGames Advantage Match on Monday. The bout was first announced on the November 14 episode of WWE Raw, but the participants weren't announced. The two stars will represent their respective teams foe WarGames. The winner will earn their team the entrance order advantage in the WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
At WWE Survivor Series, Ripley will join forces with Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) and Nikki Cross to face Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and a fifth member who has not been announced yet. Ripley joined Team Damage CTRL this past Monday in response to Yim joining forces with Belair's squad.
The clash between Asuka and Ripley on Monday will be their first singles match on TV since June 2021. Ripley previously defeated Asuka to win the Raw Women's Championship at WWE WrestleMania 37.
