Kyle Fletcher smashed his head off the guard rail early in the match after hitting a top rope Moonsault to the outside, busting his head open in the process. After getting taped up to stop the blood, he managed to keep pushing and help Mark Davis to capture the gold.
This was the second time Fletcher and Davis have challenged for the IWGP Tag Team Titles as they came up short in their first challenge against FTR at Royal Quest in 2023.
Aussie Open's win ends Bishamon's second reign with the titles, which they won at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
