Montez Ford and Austin Theory have both been eliminated from the tournament.
On the August 14th episode of WWE Speed, Montez Ford and Austin Theory competed in a Number One Contender's Tournament match. Ford and Theory battled back and forth in a hard-fought bout. Theory gained the upper hand and caught Ford with a dropkick.
Ford rallied with a suplex and a dropkick. They traded blows, and the match came down to the final seconds. They kept battling, and the match ended in a time-limit draw. Theory and Ford kept fighting after the bell, and the referee struggled to break them up.

Due to the time-limit draw, both competitors were eliminated from the tournament. As a result, Je’Von Evans advanced to the semi-finals. He will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between Joaquin Wilde and Pete Dunne. The winner of that match will challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship.
