Bandido is getting a big match against Mike Bailey on ROH's upcoming trip in the United Kingdom.
ROH announced that the two will have a match at the upcoming Honor United tour on October 27 in Bolton, England. It is the second match made official for the tour with the other being Jeff Cobb getting a shot at the ROH World Title against the winner of Matt Taven vs. RUSH taking place at Death Before Dishonor on September 27.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey, one of the hottest free agents in pro wrestling, makes his ROH debut against Bandido in a first-time ever match on the Honor United UK tour stop in Bolton on Oct. 27.
Bailey, a native of Montreal, has been competing all over the world, including Europe, Japan, Mexico and Canada, since making his in-ring debut at the age of 16 in 2006.
His biggest impact in the U.S. occurred in 2015, when he made it to the finals of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles. En route to the finals, Bailey defeated Drew Galloway, Tommy End and Will Ospreay in succession.
Bailey, who blends high-speed athleticism with a martial arts background, also owns victories over the likes of former ROH World Champions Kevin Steen and Michael Elgin, as well as Flip Gordon and Jonathan Gresham, among others.
He’ll face a tough test in Bandido, the fastest-rising star in the sport.
The high-flying LifeBlood member scored the biggest victory of his career recently by pinning Jay Briscoe in a critically acclaimed match on Global Wars Espectacular tour. Bandido also has pinfall victories over Shane Taylor (prior to Taylor winning the ROH World Television Title) and Marty Scurll, the latter taking place in a tag match.
