Becky Lynch continues her social media dominance.
This past week, Lynch and Conor McGregor made headlines with a quick twitter exchange. The exchange included McGregor saying, "Call me when you need Proper back up" to Lynch and Lynch teasing a McGregor appearance at WrestleMania by saying, "I hear New York is nice in the spring, though."
WWE covered the exchange between the two Irish mates, which led to Lynch keeping the tease going.

Lynch is not only referring to calling McGregor for a WrestleMania 35 appearance in New York, but is also referencing McGregor's assault on a bus at UFC 223 in Brooklyn this past April. McGregor flew from Ireland to New York the week of UFC 223 after watching teammate and friend Artem Lobov get hounded by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Back in 2016, after McGregor "retired" from MMA, WWE began teasing the potential arrival of McGregor to the world of sports entertainment. At the time, Lynch reached out to "The Notorious" to "come join" her in WWE.

McGregor's longtime coach and friend John Kavanagh even fueled the rumors with an Instagram post following McGregor's "retirement" announcement.
Despite all the teases and WWE's hope, there are no current plans in place for McGregor to appear at WrestleMania 35.
