Big Bill On AEW's Stacked Roster: The More People, The Better. We Want A F*cking Superteam

Big Bill wants AEW to be like the 2011 Miami Heat.

AEW has built up a roster that is full of top stars. In the past year, the company has signed Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, Adam Copeland, Mercedes Mone, among others, and they join a group that already included Bryan Danielson, MJF, Jon Moxley, Toni Storm, and more.

Speaking on Rasslin' with Brandon F. Walker, Big Bill commented on AEW's stacked roster. He stated that he thought that it was good for storytelling. He also said that he thought they wanted to have a super team like the 2011 Miami Heat.

“The roster is fucking stacked. I think it creates for good stories, good rivalries. I want to work with everybody you just named. I think bring them all in. The more people, the better. I could see the flip side of it, but I think we want to have a fucking super team, dude. We want the 2011 Miami Heat, we want a fucking super team," Big Bill said.

Bill was quick to clarify that he meant the 2012 Miami Heat, as they won the NBA Finals.

The 2011 season marked the Miami Heat's first season with LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade. They ultimately lost in the NBA Finals, but the team won the championship the following year. The Heat also won the NBA Finals in 2012.
