Cody Rhodes has a big supporter.
WrestleMania 40 will be headlined by Cody Rhodes challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at night two of the event. Rhodes fell in defeat to Reigns at WrestleMania 39, and has spent the last year working his way back to the main event of WrestleMania.
Just about everyone has weighed in on who they are rooting for, and Big E is pulling for Cody.
“I’m going to say Cody. What he’s done outside the ring, the way he represents the company and himself, he deserves this opportunity. I’m rooting for him, and it’s been amazing. With Cody, The Rock, Roman, and Seth, the way the stories have all intertwined has been beautiful. I’m looking forward to watching WrestleMania, and I’m pulling for Cody," said Big E to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.
Big E has been sidelined since March 2022 with a neck injury.
