A return date is set for the Intercontinental Champion.
WWE announced Big E will return on the March 12 WWE SmackDown. The Intercontinental Champion has been sidelined since February 19 when Apollo Crews, who was standing in the ring, tossed steel steps on him as he laid on the outside.
WWE noted Big E was out with a "Brachial Plexus injury."
Fightful Select reported Big E was not backstage at SmackDown on Friday as he's at home selling his injuries.
"It ain't over until I say it's over."

One week after dropping steps on Big E, Apollo Crews revealed his ancestors are Nigerian royalty and he is a real African American. He went on to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura in singles competition. On The March 5 WWE SmackDown, Crews once again challenged Big E for an Intercontinental Championship match.
